ABOUT

LUKE NOA IS A SONGWRITER, PRODUCER & ARTIST BASED IN BERLIN, GERMANY.

The year is 1999. In a small apartment in Switzerland, Moby, Lenny Kravitz, U2 and Johnny Cash drift from the stereo – the soundtrack to a childhood shared with an older brother, long before Luke understood any of it would matter. Growing up surrounded by English-language music and American film, he developed an early fascination with a world that felt much bigger than the one outside his window.

At twelve, the family resettles back to Biberach, southern Germany, where Luke was born. His mother, undeterred by his past attempts, nudges him toward the guitar one more time. And this time, something clicks. Just a few years later, the Indie Folk wave sweeps through: Mumford & Sons, George Ezra, Vance Joy, Matt Corby. Luke finds in it a language of his own: melodies that feel worn-in and familiar, yet carry an emotional weight that lingers. It’s a sensibility – timeless and elegant – he’s carried ever since.

Perhaps that tension between where he comes from and the wider world has always been part of Luke’s music. There is warmth in his songs, but also restraint; vulnerability without excess, ambition without posturing. His music and visual world draw on a deep love for beauty, style and the past, without ever tipping into nostalgia for its own sake. Rather than chasing trends, Luke is interested in things that feel lasting - songs, images and moments that seem to belong to another time, yet still feel alive today.

The result so far: One album. Five EPs. Over 18 million streams on Spotify. Stages across Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and Austria – and nights spent opening for artists he once listened to on repeat: Matt Corby, Amistat, Curtis Harding and Mighty Oaks.
